Sherlock and Orphan Black Headed to Comic-Con 2013
How in the hell did Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) survive that fall? When will John (Martin Freeman) realize that his best friend is actually alive? And just how awesome is Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany? These questions are already hastily being scribbled down in our nerd notebooks, because Sherlock and Orphan Black are both headed to Comic-Con this year, and we need answers.
EW.com is reporting that for the first time ever, the BBC series Sherlock will appear at San Diego Comic-Con in a couple of weeks. Before you get your Cumber-panties in a twist, we hate to inform you that neither Freeman nor Cumberbatch are scheduled to attend. But you get the next best thing: creators and executive producers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, as well as producer Sue Vertue. If anyone has scoop on season three, it's those guys. Exact time and locations for the Sherlock panel will be announced tomorrow.
Orphan Black, another huge BBC America hit, will also take over Comic-Con for the first time, TVLine.com reports. Critics Choice Award winner Tatiana Maslany along with fellow castmembers Jordan Gavaris and Dylan Bruce will join creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett on the panel to answer questions on the much-buzzed about first season and hopefully give some sort of glimpse at season two. The Orphan Black panel is happening on Friday, July 19 at 7 p.m., Maslany in Room 7AB. Be there or be a clone.
