Model Jourdan Dunn Gets Cut From Dior Show Because of Her Boobs 

It's not every day that we feel sorry for a model for having big boobs.

But catwalker Jourdan Dunn proves that sometimes being beautiful is actually hard.

The 22-year-old British model, who has walked the runways for such designers as Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren, took to Twitter over the weekend to claim that her curves got in the way of landing a gig with Dior.
"Ahahahahahaha I just for cancelled from Dior because of my boobs!" Dunn wrote. "I [heart] fashion #Couture"

Looks like Dunn, who was apparently scheduled to walk in today's Dior show in Paris for couture week, was a little too voluptuous for the label's liking.

But for someone who just got the ax, Dunn seemed to take the Dior diss in stride, laughing the incident off. Of course, she later revealed that part of the reason she was able to have such a lighthearted reaction from being dropped from the show, was because she's actually experienced much worse dismissals in the notoriously tough fashion industry. 

"I'm normally told I'm cancelled because I'm 'coloured' so being cancelled because off my boobs is a minor : )," she went on to explain via Twitter.

Back in March, Dunn opened up about experiencing racism in the fashion industry during an interview with The Edit, in which she revealed that she had lost out on jobs because clients "didn't want any more black girls," and even recounted an incident in which a makeup artist refused to touch her because of her race.
Dior recently came under fire or its lack of diversity on the runways, with casting director James Scully, who has worked for Tom Ford Jason Wu and Stella McCartney among others, blasting the design house for choosing predominantly white models.

"I feel the Dior cast is just so pointedly white that it feels deliberate," Scully told Buzzfeed back in March. "I watch that show and it bothers me I almost can't even concentrate on the clothes because of the cast. And recently they're changing from a very diverse, worldwide, multicultural cast to just a very Germanic-looking white girl."

But even though Dunn didn't get cast in Dior's most recent show, it appears someone at Dior was paying attention to the criticism. Fashionista reports that six models, including Alek Wek and joan smalls took to the label's Parision runway earlier today.
