Jessie J in Glamour UK August 2013: I'm Addicted To My Job Right Now
Taking some time away from her crazy recording schedule, Jessie J soaked up the spotlight by covering the August 2013 issue of Glamour UK.
While rocking a few poses for the David Gubert-shot spread, the “Domino” hitmaker opened up about her life as a single lady and how much she really enjoys not having hair.
Check out a few highlights from Miss J’s interview below. For more, be sure to visit Glamour UK!
On not having a boyfriend:
“I’m addicted to my job right now. I want to be a good daughter, I want to be a good sister, I want to be a great aunt, I want to be a great friend. I know I’ve got the right friends because they understand when they haven’t seen me for three months and then when I do see them, it’s exactly as it was before. And if I did meet somebody, I would only ever make room for someone that love me how I deserved to be loved. Until then… I’ve got my shoes, I’ve got my album, my dog.”

On taking her time growing her back:
“I think I will grow it back at some point, but I want to make the point that when I said I was going to shave my head for charity, I was going to shave my head for charity. There’s a big difference between shaving your head and then growing it back in five minutes.”

On her new album “Gold”:
“I listen back to it and I feel like my insides are smiling… You go into the studio and go, ‘F***, what am I going to sing about? Aeroplanes? Dressing rooms?’ You have to really dig deep and that’s why you have to make time for a social life, to have something to write about. Some of them are very personal and I’m scared for the world to hear them. However, with the first album I was scared for people to hear – and look at the good it’s done… So I think it’s going to be great.”
