Carly Rae Jepsen’s New Candie’s Ads: Exclusive First Look
For Carly Rae Jepsen’s first Candie’s campaign, they put the star to work, placing her behind the camera as well as striking poses in front of it.
Luckily, she got to relax a bit more while shooting the most recent slate of ads (that hotel bed in the behind-the-scenes shots below looks pretty comfy!) but that doesn’t mean she was off the hook entirely.
Jepsen will be starring in her first-ever television commercial, debuting at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards. The pop star will be offering exclusive live flash sales on her favorite products during the broadcast, so die-hard shoe lovers better keep their wallet close at hand and Kohls.com open on their laptops.
And while Jepsen likes the innovative aspect of her Candie’s campaigns, she’s really here for one reason and one reason only.
“The highlight for me is definitely the shoes … I actually have a problem,” she tells PEOPLE. “My closet has become a little obnoxious. But today, I found some Candie’s sandals and boots and heels that I’ll have to add to that collection, because I have fallen in love, and love is a thing you can’t fight.”
